  1. When the world trade center collapsed, it felt un-real to me, like nothing ever happened .. because when you're used to something and you see it everyday, it just doesn't seem like it would leave.I think I wouldn't be sad, if my father didn't go in to save people in the tower, if I could do that day all over again then I would make sure that my father and I don't leave the house so he wouldn't need to go to the world trade center and if he didn't go to work that day , he still could have been with us today. Having the world trade center collapse didn't feel like it would have a huge impact on me .. turns out it did.

  4. Since I was in the twin towers while the attack happened.. I really didn't know what to assume. First I thought someone was playing a horrible joke on us, but when I saw people jumping out the towers.. I knew it wasn't a joke. I was in the tower that got attacked later on, but knowing that many people's lives were lost was very tragic. It also seemed like it happened to fast, when what happened took place.. I didn't know what to think, it seemed like everything was happening quickly.. I couldn't process everything that was happening in that very moment.

  5. Thank you for sharing Will. Seeing people jump out of the towers , that must have been awful to watch, how did it feel watching them jump out? I understand where you're coming from about the part where you couldn't process what was happening in the moment , because it had happened to me many times and I am sure it happened to many other people too.

  6. Anytime Marissa. Seeing people jump out of the towers , yes it was definitely awful to watch, and I remember these two people .. they decided to hold hands and jump out , I mean I can't even imagine the situation being so dreadful that their first option would be to jump out, I honestly cannot describe how it felt to watch people jump out of the building .. whenever I think about what had happened , I think about the innocent people jumping out of the building and I think about how tragic this event was. And yes , I am sure a lot of people who may have survived the attack may feel the way I feel.

  7. Oh my , it seems like you witnessed a whole lot going to the twin towers for a visit. It's alright that you couldn't describe how you felt watching people jump out of the building , it must be over-whelming thinking about the situation.

  8. Yeah I did witness a lot going to the twin towers. It was a trip I will never forget. And certainly it is over-whelming thinking about what happened.

  9. Your father mentioned earlier that you had found someone while your journey down the stairs , can you tell me more about that please ?

  10. Oh yeah .. we found a lady , Ting to be exact .. when we had found her she was trapped , you know what .. I'll tell her to tell you her side of the story instead , I'll call her up and tell her to about your blog.

  11. Thank you James , having Ting's and hopefully your side of the story will make my book even more greater.

  12. Well what had happened was my father and I were in the tower while the attack happened .. and the only way to get out of the building was to leave the building which meant going down the stairs. On our way down , we heard someone calling out and my dad decided to search around and see who it was , and that is when we found Ting. She had been trapped underneath what looked like an filing cabinet. After we got Ting out from under there , we found that her leg was hurt because the object that got her trapped fell on her leg. Since Ting couldn't put pressure on her leg , my father and I took turns carrying Ting down the stairs.

  13. It's a very good deed you and your father did , not leaving Ting back. Was it difficult for you to carry Ting down the stairs ?

  14. It wasn't that difficult carrying Ting down the stairs .. I mean she barely was heavy , and it felt just like football practice , when we need to piggy-back another player down the field , so I didn't mind carrying Ting down.

  15. I'm not very good at English so I am sorry if I can't explain things with much detail. But what happened was I just got a job at the Twin Towers so when the Twin Towers got attacked , I had no idea what was happening .. I just remember people running around and screaming , I had no idea what to do or think. Then in a blink of an eye the electricity went out and i felt this heavy pressure on my leg , and I couldn't move. I was screaming for a long time, but it seemed like I was deserted and no one can hear me. But then a miracle had happened , John and his son Will came to help me , I felt so happy to see someone else. They were very kind, they helped me with so much. They helped me get out from the object I was trapped under, and not only did they help me be free .. but they also helped me down the stairs , and I am so gracious for what they had did because if they weren't there then no one may have ever found me , and I wouldn't be able to see my husband and my two daughters ever again.

  16. Thank you very much for telling me that Ting , the information you gave me is going to help me a lot for my novel. It must have been very frighting for you to go through of all that , you must have felt like there was no hope. And don't worry , you explained with great detail .. haha.

  17. You're welcome Marissa. And yes , it was very frighting to go through what I did .. it did feel like there was no hope , but thank god John and Will came along.

  18. We're glad we could help you out Ting.
Hello Marissa , I think its great you decided to write a book about this topic , and its also great you decided to get perspectives of some of the people that were in the building while the attack had happened. When the attack happened , I didn't really know what was happening , but the first thing that came to my mind was to evacuate, therefore I told everyone on my floor to evacuate .. there was this one office that wasn't cooperating and unfortunately their office didn't evacuate. After Will and I were going down the stairs to leave the building , and that was when we found Ting , and Ting gave a very good summary about what had happened, so you should use that information for your book.

  19. Hey John , thank you for taking the time to respond to my blog :)
Did you leave after your whole floor evacuated or did you leave with them ?

  20. I had left after everyone else because I wanted to make sure everybody from my level had evacuated.

  21. When the twin towers got attacked all I could think about was my wife Ting .. I was just hoping that she was alright , and not many people got hurt there was nothing else on my mind except for those thoughts.

  22. You must have been relived that Ting was alright.

  23. Yes , I was very happy Ting came out alive.

  24. When I heard the twin towers got attacked , you wouldn't know how worried and anxious I was .. I wasn't able to get in touch with John or Will and everything looked so devastating , I was shocked and I was worried .. I was just hoping John and Will would come out alive because things would be horrible if they didn't.

  25. I could imagine why you would be so worried Mrs.Fuller. Was that the only emotion you felt at the moment ?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well , I was also restless .. but it basically had to be emotions related to worried , I couldn't believe what was happening .. and I couldn't imagine not seeing John or Will ever again.

  27. I understand why you were so worried , I'm really sure if anybody else was in your position they would be too.

  28. I honestly had no clue what was going on when the attack happened .. I knew that James and his father went to the fire department but I didn't know if he had to go to the world trade center. I still don't know what to think about what had happened , I think its going to take time.

  29. Oh wow , you didn't know what was happening the whole time , I'm sorry for your lose Mrs.Bennet , I wish the best for you and your family.
